Mousehole to Marazion

6.8 miles - 2.5 hours

After many days of rain and miserable weather, on 30th December 2012 we had a clear day and we decided to do another section of the Cornish Coastal Path. Our preference was to do the Sennen Cove to Porth Curno stretch, but with strong winds forecast and the possibility of land-slip, the Coast Guard had asked people not to walk the coastal routes. So, we decided on Mousehole to Marazion. Whists this is not the most exciting part of the Coastal Path, it was at least sheltered and offered good footing; most of it was on tarmac and part on the gravel path next to the beach.

An unusual path sign at the point you leave the road and take to
the coastal path. It indicates 1 mile back to Mousehole and 5 1/2 to Marazion
