Stage 44. Campagnano di Roma to La Storta

“From Campagnano di Roma the path continues towards the church of Madonna del Sorbo, just before Parco di Veio. It crosses the Valle del Sorbo before climbing to the village of Formello. A long scenic stretch up to the ford of the Valchetta river (to be tackled carefully: during the dry season it can be crossed by stepping on the stones placed at the bottom of the river bed, but must be avoided in case of floods and heavy rains).
Beyond the stream the path carries on to the village of Isola Farnese. Continuing along the main road it reaches La Storta”.
