Stage 8. Viverone to Santhia

The major attraction of the day is the Roppolo Castle, which offers a lovely view of the morainic amphitheatre of Ivrea and Lake Viverone.  An interesting visit (free) is that of the enoteca carved in the ancient cellars.  The descent to Cavaglià takes on a country road and, after the village, you can visit the Santuario di Nostra Signora del Babilone (Shrine of Our Lady of Babilone) and reach Santhià along quiet country roads.

Refreshment and water stops at Roppolo and Santhià.
