This is a very pleasant and leisurely walk with very little climbing. Leaving Flushing via the Tregew/Penarrow Road to Mylor, there is a turning to the left and a small lay by, with the footpath sign pointing towards Trelew. This is a convenient place to park, and the path from Flushing on the return leg comes out along the drive of the farm opposite. From the parking place the path descends towards the coast, gentle at first over fields, then dropping more steeply along a broken path covered with trees...... this section may well be wet underfoot so boots or walking shoes are preferable. The path comes out on Wayfield Road, and it is a short walk to Mylor Yacht Harbour. The path comes out by Saint Mylor Church, and you can actually walk through the churchyard itself. There are restaurants at Mylor Yacht Harbour ("Castaways") and it is a pleasant place for a meal in the evening. The path continues around the coast heading towards Falmouth, which is on the opposite side of the Carrick Roads. Eventually the path reached Trefusis Road with its expensive houses, before entering Flushing itself. Here we stopped for coffee at The Waterside, before turning right up Kersey Road, next to The Royal Standard Inn. A quarter of a mile up Kersey Road a path goes off to the left, which heads towards Tregew Farm, and the return to the car.
