We will descend from Montescaglioso along a path that leads to the valley and continue between wheat fields and olive groves. The birds of prey that populate the area will accompany our journey for long stretches. We will walk along a suggestive path suspended on the rave of Matera, overlooking cave houses and rock churches.
We will arrive in Matera passing through Casalnuovo, entering directly into the heart of the Sassi, the unique heritage in the world. After the accommodation, we will visit the Caveoso and Barisano areas together. |
