Day 12. Laxay to Stornoway

The final section is a walk of two parts. The first stretch crosses the moorlands of Lewis on a raised turf path with stunning views stretching from the mainland hills in the east to the island of Great Bernera in the west. After Achmore the route follows a single track to Lews Castle on the outskirts of Stornoway, the official end of the walk.
