A misty day as I left Le Sauvage

13km to the fist major point, Saint-Alban-sur-Limogne

Looking back towards Le Sauvage

Fontaine Saint-Roch

Chapelle Saint-Roch. Originally dedicated to St James, this re-built structure (1901) was rededicated to St. Roch

I hoped to get a cup of coffee at this Gîte, but it was closed

Another pair of boots bite the dust!

An unusual cross

Saint-Alban-sur-Limogne. A reasonably sized town and a chance to get a coffee

The church at Saint-Alban-sur-Limogne

CC....... Chabannes Cats

Cross at Chabannes Village

Through the forrest. The sign on the gate warns that horses run free

A handy little bivvy

And back out into open country

Birds of prey overhead

The cross at Les Estrets

Crossing the Truyere river

Arriving at Aumont Aubrac, but still quite a way to go to the centre

The Church of St Etienne at Aumont Aubrac
