Cerro del Tambor 1,075m

24th October 2022

From our room at the Parador, Room 224, we had an excellent view of Cerro del Tambor and it was just asking to be climbed! I asked at the Reception, and was advised that there were two routes I could take; one was up the main face of the mountain, although this was steep and rocky; the other was to go down the access rod to the Parador as far as the restaurant, then go towards the hospital, and climb the peak through the forrest. I decided to combine the two in a circular route.
