Gawdawpalin Temple, Bagan

Gawdawpalin Temple was built by Narapatisithu (1174-1211 A.D.) and in its general arrangement resembles Thatbyinnyu Temple. It has a vestibule on the east, but unlike Thatbyinnyu, the upper storey is reached by narrow stairs built into the thickness of the walls.
