Bilbao to Fuente Dé

 

The route was fairly straight forward; westward along the A-8 as far as Panes, then along the N-621 into the Lebeña valley through the impressive "Desfiladero de La Hermida" gorge to Potes; Fuente Dé is 22 km west of Potes

The road ends at Fuente Dé except for authorised 4X4 vehicles. The Hotel Rebeco is on the left and
the Parador Fuente Dé is straight ahead. The cable car station is to the left, but it was out of action
for two weeks whilst we were there whilst it was serviced.
