The Catalonia Mirador des Ports Hotel is high on a promintory overlooking the Port of Mahon and next to the Museum of Mahon. It is in a failrly convenient position for the historic area of the town, and is about 10 - 15 minutes walk from the center and from the bus station.

The hotel is in the final stages of a major refurbishment. The parts that have been updated have been done to a very modern and high standard. The swimming pool / garden area was not due for completion until June when we were staying at the hotel, which was a major disappointment as both the Easyjet Holiday website and the Booking.com website show pictures of a completed garden/swimming pool area.
