Cosgaya

 

A short way back along the road from Fuente Dé towards Potes is the village of Cosgaya. It is a nice place with two or three good hotels which would make an ideal base for walking. In the evening at the Parador Fuente Dé the dining room does not open until 8-30 p.m., which is too late for us. So, we went out on two nights down to Cosgaya, once to have the set meal at Hotel Cosgaya for 15 euro at 8 p.m., and the second time to have tapas in the bar at Hotel del Oso from 7 p.m.
