Puglia is renown for its olive oil production, and everywhere you travel there are olive trees in the fields. Olive oil is known as "liquid gold" in Puglia, and the region has been producing high-quality extra-virgin olive oil - known for its fruity flavour and vibrant green colour - for thousands of years. This visit was to the family run Ancona Olive Oil mill.
