Puerto de la Cruz

| Our second day out in our AVIS VW Polo was to Puerto de la Cruz on the north coast. Leaving Costa Adeje on the TF1 motorway we headed up to Guia de Isora and Santiago del Tiede, then taking the TF82 to Icod de los Vinos. We soon came across the signpost to the "famous" Drago Tree in Icod, but the signs petered out and we could not find it! Not to worry, there are many other Drago trees (or Dragon trees) on the island. The roads were quite bendy, and the lack of power in the Polo made for a difficult drive.We drove back on the TF21 via Mt. Teide. |
